The hardest part of understanding ULEK is the fact that it is so simple. As we have evolved we thought the complexity brought simplicity. So we took our original religions like Celtic Paganism, the second oldest still practiced religion, then broke it spirituality into the multi-deity practice we think of today. Celtic Paganism started out as understanding that everything came form one Source. Most Egyptian worshippers have forgotten that it was not Ra of the later multi-deity practice, but Amen that everything came from. Most religions (Druidism, Native American beliefs, Egyptian, and in some ways even Judaism and any one 'God' religions) are all of ULEK. The oldest belief still practiced today is that all things come from ONE. The names changes, different words are used in different practices, cultures, and religions but the philosophies are all based in ULEK.

We like to make things complex and to separate ourselves by language and culture, as well as spiritual practice. But we are all human, all the same species. And it is time we remember to be ONE, time to return to the wholeness and simplicity of ULEK.

How all religions are of ULEK®

Sounds impossible? Not at all when you remember that all religions are political to some degree. Knowing that religions have been created by humans for a particular need of the group of humans of that time frame. Religions are based on social and cultural needs of the people.  For example; many think that the reason that the Christian bible and Judaism have so many statements regarding food is due to health concerns more so than an actual religious reason.  They had no refrigerators as we do now and very little understanding of ways to cure food poisoning.

Take whatever religion you want and break it down, back to the foundation spirituality of the concept, not the religion, not the stories and not the politics. When spirituality is so simple why are large books written? Perhaps to tell stories so that we may understand, to complicate issues to make it seem more important, and to dominate and rule. ULEK is the basic spiritual principle found in all religions so you can be of a religious practice and still be of ULEK.

The following is sometimes difficult for people to accept when they have been taught that only 'their' way using only 'their' vocabulary is the 'correct' way. We disagree. In ULEK, we feel that all paths of light lead to the same place. So you may travel the 'Good Red Road' of Native Americanism, the Way of the Tao, the newest religion of Wicca, the craft through Celtic paganism, or any form of Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism, or any other light path and still reach the same place in ULEK.

ULEK is the spirituality and lies in the foundations of all religions. Let us take a peek at three religions people would think are very different from one another and see the ULEK in them; The Ten Commandments (The Bible - Exodus 20) of the Christian Religion, Celtic/Pagan/Wicca, and the TaoTiChing.

The 10 Commandments (The Bible - Exodus 20) Christian Religion TaoTiChing Celtic - Pagan - Wicca
You shall not steal.
You shall not covet.
Tao 3: Not putting high value on rare goods prevents the people from being bandits; Not displaying objects of desire prevents the people from being disorderly.   Te 46: No guilt grater than giving into desire. No crime is more grievous than the desire for gain  Do as you must but harm none.
You shall not kill. Te 73 The Way of heaven does not war yet is good at conquering.  Tao 31 Weapons are not instruments of the superior man but instruments of evil omen to be used only when there is no other choice. One who delights in the killing of others cannot exercise his will over all under heaven. The killing of masses of human beings we bewail with sorrow and grief. Victory in battle we commemorate with mourning ritual.  Do as you must but harm none.
You shall not bare false witness against your neighbor Te 49: Be sincere to those who are sincere also be sincere to those who are insincere Do as you must but harm none.
Honor thy father
and thy mother
Tao28: Know masculinity. Maintain femininity and be a ravine for all under heaven.

Plus the Yin/Yang concept

Father sky and Mother earth are shown respect in almost every ceremony.

The Council of American Witches Principles of Belief #4 We conceive of the Creative Power in the Universe as manifesting through polarity - as masculine and feminine - and that this same Creative Power lives in all people, and functions through the interaction of the masculine and feminine.

See, it really is all the same.
The only difference is the vocabulary and the practices used to express yourself.
